The best hamburger and fries I have ever eaten, the hamburger was so big and juicy and the fries were just the way I love them. I will only eat here now.

I wanted to learn the history of the restaurant. It was intriguing. A different dining experience in that there are no waitresses. You order and pick up at the window. The tables and chairs were mix matched, which added to the charm. Lots of antiques and relics.

Been living in Andalusia since 09 and finally tried this place for the first time today. Wish I'd gone here before now! Got the BBQ Beef plate with coleslaw/okra and a hamburger combo. The beef is incredible, no need for the BBQ sauce I got. Plenty of flavor here! The coleslaw and okra remind me of the stuff I had when I was a child. The burger is one of the best ones in town - on par with Benton's in my opinion. Can't wait to go back. Reasonable prices, great service. Highly recommended.

We had several different dishes. The crows feet was interesting. (Fried Potatoe Logs with meat and trimmings) The Redneck chips were great. My daughter had the chicken salad that had shredded chicken. Nothing was disappointing, very good!

Love this spot that has BBQ, burgers great sides (handcut and breaded onion rings!), and friendly service. Always stop by on the way to the beach. All the fried things are solid; great seasoning in the breading.

Me fiance and I love this place. We have been coming here for years. We always have a pleasant experience, impressed by both the food and service. The atmosphere is casual with a warm, friendly, southern vibe. There are two counters at the front: one for ordering and the other for picking up your food. You get your paper menu at the front counter. The staff is always attentive and happy to answer any menu questions without rushing us. We usually go for the large Crows Feet, which easily lasts us two meals. That plus two drinks is about 30. It’s not like a traditional restaurant where there are servers and a hostess, you just order and sit wherever you’d like, inside or outside at the picnic tables. The food is always cooked to perfection. The BBQ meat (usually chicken or pork for us) is tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, with a nice smoky taste. Everything has always been hot and fresh when we’ve went. The cups are small/medium sized, so we end up getting refills. You have to ask for tea refills at the second window, but the soda machine you can access yourself. The restaurant and bathroom always seems clean and tidy. We always leave feeling full, happy, and satisfied. For the quality, amount of food, and the level of service we receive, the price is very reasonable.

Best BBQ in Andalusia, burgers are great too! Down-home decorations to keep you entertained while you wait or dine. Hours are somewhat limited so be sure to check before you go. I Love the BBQ baked potato it's a full meal! Try local favorite "Hart Attack" sandwich/fries combo - A souped up Ribeye Sandwich w/bacon, pepper jack cheese & secret sauce all on buttered Texas Toast! Enjoy!

On our way back through from our family vacation in Florida we found this incredible hole-in-the-wall BBQ place. It's super small, but we loved it. We were a family of 8 and had to what for a table but that was OK with us. There was seating outside too. If you are looking for a real BBQ this is the place for you! Their pecan pies are amazing!! The price is also the beat part!

Crow's Nest is not just another eatery; it’s a culinary gem nestled at 605 Western Bypass in Andalusia, AL. This charming establishment stands out for its unique dining experience and delectable BBQ offerings. With a menu that spans from BBQ pork by the pound to hearty plates of grilled or fried chicken, Crow's Nest captures the essence of comfort food with a southern twist.

As I entered Crow's Nest, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The mismatched tables and chairs, adorned with antiques and relics, give it character—a charming touch that enhances the dining experience. Like some diners, I found the concept intriguing: there are no waitresses, and you order at the window, embracing a casual yet engaging environment.

  • BBQ Delights: The BBQ options here are truly a highlight. I sampled the BBQ beef plate, which was bursting with flavor, requiring no additional sauce. Every bite brought back childhood memories of family cookouts, making it a comfort food triumph.
  • Juicy Burgers: I couldn't resist the allure of the giant, juicy hamburger. Accompanied by hand-cut fries, it's a favorite among patrons. Barbara Smith echoed this sentiment, claiming it to be the best hamburger and fries she has ever tasted.
  • Unique Offerings: The 'Loaded Crow Feet' and 'Redneck Chips' add an exciting twist to the menu. These inventive dishes are not just tasty; they offer a playful take on southern comfort food.

The sides are equally commendable, with options like coleslaw and fried okra that complement the main dishes perfectly. Eleasa Kim highlighted the hand-cut and seasoned onion rings, which are a fried delight worth indulging in.

Overall, Crow's Nest offers a delightful fusion of flavors, friendly service, and a casual vibe that beckons you to return. Whether you're passing through on your way to the beach or looking for a local spot to satisfy your BBQ cravings, Crow's Nest should undoubtedly be on your radar. I left feeling satisfied, eager to return and explore more of this culinary haven.
